The Vicsal Foundation, Inc. (VFI) is now accepting applications for its College Scholarship Program for Academic Year 2026-2027. The scholarship aims to provide full financial assistance to underprivileged but academically qualified public senior high school graduates who wish to pursue college education.

The Vicsal Foundation Scholarship Program is designed to support students enrolling in partner institutions such as the University of San Carlos (USC), University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR), and Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U).

What is the Vicsal Foundation Scholarship Program?

Vicsal Foundation Scholarship is an educational assistance initiative of the Vicsal Foundation, the charitable organization behind Metro Gaisano. The program provides financial support to deserving students from low-income families to help them complete their college education.

What are the benefits of the scholarship?

Selected scholars under the Vicsal Foundation Scholarship will receive the following assistance:

• Full tuition and school fees (100% coverage based on school billing)
• Monthly allowance of ₱3,000
• Book allowance of ₱3,000 per semester
• Graduation support of up to ₱2,000 for graduation fees

What are the qualifications?

Prior to application, interested applicants must ensure they meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Must be a graduate or graduating student of any public senior high school
• Must have a General Average of at least 88%, with no grade lower than 80% in any subject
• Annual gross income of both parents must not exceed ₱300,000
• For single-earner families, annual income must not exceed ₱150,000
• Must have good moral character
• Must demonstrate leadership potential
• Must not be receiving any other scholarship grant

What are the documentary requirements needed?

Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents in one (1) long white folder:

• Accomplished Vicsal Scholarship Application Form
• Birth Certificate issued by PSA or NSO
• Senior High School Report Card (Grade 12 – 1st Semester grades)
• Certificate of Good Moral Character
• Parents’ latest BIR Income Tax Return (ITR) or Tax Exemption Certificate
• Barangay Clearance
• One (1) recent 2×2 colored picture
