What are the qualifications?
Interested applicants must ensure they meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be enrolled in a partner state university or college
- Must be an incoming 2nd year college student
- Must belong to an economically challenged family
- Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 2.25 (82%)
- Must have no failing grades
- Must have no incomplete grades
- Must be a regular student
- Must pass the interview and home visitation
- Must be a resident of Metro Manila or nearby areas in Rizal
What are the documentary requirements needed?
Applicants need to submit their accomplished application form with the following attachments:
- Duly accomplished Tzu Chi application form
- Latest report card
- Latest registration form
- One (1) piece 1×1 ID picture
- Autobiography
- Recent family picture
- Photos of the inside and outside of the house
- Copy of utility bills
- Sketch map of residence with landmarks
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) or parent’s payslip (if applicable)
- Barangay Certificate of Indigency
