Mandaue City Scholarship 2026 | Requirements, Benefits, and How to Apply

The Mandaue City Government is now accepting applications for the Mandaue City Scholarship 2026 for qualified students who wish to pursue college education for School Year 2026–2027. Interested applicants are advised to submit their complete requirements within the application period.

According to the Mandaue City Youth Development Office (MCYDO), the scholarship application period will run from March 16 to March 31, 2026, and only applicants with complete documents will be processed.

How to Apply for the Mandaue City Scholarship 2026

Applicants must follow the application process set by the Mandaue City Youth Development Office.

Submit the completed application form together with all required documents within the application period. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

What are the qualifications?

Prior to application, interested applicants must ensure they meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a resident of Mandaue City for at least three years
  • Must reside in any of the 27 barangays of Mandaue City
  • Must be an incoming first-year college student
  • Must be a graduating Senior High School student or Senior High School graduate from 2023 to 2025
  • Must have an average grade of at least 85 percent, with no grade lower than 80 in any subject

What are the documentary requirements needed?

Applicants need to submit their accomplished application form with the following attachments:

For Graduating Grade 12 Students:

  • Certified true copy of Grade 12 report card (1st to 3rd grading periods)
  • Must reflect an average of at least 85 percent with no grade below 80

For Senior High School Graduates:

  • Certified true copy of Grade 12 report card (1st to 4th grading periods)
  • Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 85 percent with no grade below 80

Additional Requirements:

  • Barangay certificate of residency
  • Any of the following proof of income:
    • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents or guardians not exceeding ₱250,000
    • Certificate of Tax Exemption from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
    • Notarized affidavit of no income from parents or guardians
  • Other documents that may be required by the scholarship office

What are the benefits of the scholarship?

Qualified scholars under the Mandaue City Scholarship Program will receive the following financial assistance:

  • ₱17,000 per semester
  • ₱34,000 per year
  • Financial support to help cover school-related expenses
  • Opportunity to enroll in any four-year course of choice

Limited Scholarship Slots

The Mandaue City Scholarship Program is highly competitive. In previous years, more than 500 applicants applied for approximately 100 available scholarship slots. Selection of scholars is based on academic performance, financial need, and screening results.

Application Period

The Mandaue City Scholarship 2026 will accept applications from March 16 to March 31, 2026. Applicants are advised to submit their complete requirements early to avoid disqualification.
